Description
This set is born from the ancient tradition of terracotta art. Each piece is individually moulded from organic clay, sun-dried, and kiln-fired to achieve a durable, ceramic-like finish. The deep forest green base serves as a rich canvas for the intricate surface ornamentation. The artist has utilised a palette of burnt orange, mustard gold, and crisp white to create rhythmic patterns, including delicate floral motifs and traditional geometric banding.
Design & Components
-
The Pendant: The centerpiece is a sophisticated teardrop-shaped focal bead adorned with a central sun-burst motif. It transitions into a rare two-tier jhumka (bell) design. Each bell is finished with tiny off-white clay droplets that mimic the look of seed pearls, adding movement and a tactile “crunch” to the aesthetic.
-
The Earrings: The set includes a matching pair of jhumka earrings. They feature a circular “stud” portion with a floral design, from which a single ornate bell hangs, mirroring the design language of the necklace.
-
The Cord: The pendant is suspended from a sturdy, adjustable black braided thread. This provides a rustic contrast to the polished clay and allows the wearer to customize the length—from a close-fitting choker to a mid-length statement piece.
